At $50/month, it would cost me about the same (or less) per year as I’ve been paying over the last 5 years of suite upgrades, but I’d also get all their newfangled cloud services and tablet touch apps.

The drawback is that I would be “renting” the tools I use to make a living, software I rely on and use every day. I’m not totally comfortable with that idea just yet, even though I’ve been upgrading steadily and faithfully for years and don’t expect that to change.
